Da Vinci continues to grow in Europe and US

While the sun’s been shining, we’ve been hard at work bringing Da Vinci to millions more families across North America and Europe. At the same time, we’re premiering new educational shows, gearing up to celebrate International Friendship Day, and preparing a new campaign for Back to School.

Da Vinci Kids Added to Curiosity’s Smart Bundle

Da Vinci is expanding its distribution in North America through a major global partnership with Curiosity, the leading factual entertainment company. From later this summer, the Da Vinci Kids app will be available through the Curiosity 'Smart Bundle', which brings together seven of the best content services in a single mind-expanding subscription. This partnership is just the latest in a string of major announcements in North America, including the launch of Da Vinci Kids on-demand channel with Comcast Xfinity, and long running partnerships which bring our content to popular kids’ devices from brands like Miko and Contixo.

Tomorrow Will Be Televised interviewed Douglas Lloyd

Douglas Lloyd, co-founder and CEO of Macademia, was interviewed live on the popular radio show and podcast “Tomorrow Will Be Televised”. Douglas discussed Da Vinci’s role as a mission-led business in the  interactive/Smart TV future, and our recent global partnership with Curiosity. The interview available as a podcast via Tomorrow Will Be Televised archive at OnPodium and BlogTalk.

Millions more families join Da Vinci in Europe

For over a decade, tens of millions of families have been learning with Da Vinci right across Europe. Now thanks to our latest partnership with T-Mobile our presence in the region is growing even further. Very soon, Magenta TV customers in Poland will be able to watch all our educational shows via the Da Vinci TV Channel, as well as enjoy interactive learning activities and video on-demand in our app. We’re delighted for T-Mobile to join major telcos including Vodafone, United Group and O2 who provide access to our content to better serve their family customers across Europe.

Be One of the Kind

Kindness is a tricky thing to teach. There’s no mathematical formula or exam to let you know how well you’re doing. That’s why we are putting kindness at the top of the agenda for the new school year. With a selection of award-winning shows premiering on Da Vinci that focus on empathy and compassion, we’re helping families to enjoy content that leads by example and inspires positive action. Check out the campaign pack and help us to make families everywhere proud to be #BeOneOfTheKind!

New premieres for animal lovers and business brain

At Da Vinci we’re all about learning that goes beyond the classroom. That’s why we’re premiering two new shows that help kids build vital 21st Century skills. Bajillionaires, available globally from July 11th, follows a group of young inventors developing their entrepreneurial skills, as they try to launch a business from their parents' garage. We are also helping viewers in Africa, CEE and Russia develop their love for the natural world in Amazing Animal Friends, which launched on July 16th. We love this show because it gets families thinking about compassion and teamwork as they learn what brings nature’s most unlikely pals together.
