Astro partners with family edutainment brand Da Vinci

Astro expands its content library with premium educational entertainment

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 19th, 2023: Astro, Malaysia’s leading Pay-TV platform, has entered a content partnership with educational entertainment powerhouse, Da Vinci, to offer high-quality and engaging edutainment content to its viewers, through a daily Da Vinci-branded programming block on Astro’s in-house channel, Astro Tutor TV. The partnership will see a library of educational series across different genres such as Science & Technology, Maths & Engineering, and Society & Culture being broadcast on the channel.

Speaking about the partnership, Astro’s Head of Kids Content, Farah Fauzana Zainul said, “We are elated to have Da Vinci on board as Astro firmly believes education should be constantly diversified with various forms of content especially those that cater to children’s education development.  Da Vinci can expand Tutor TV’s offering, which is not limited to school syllabuses learning content but enhancing their minds as well as views about the world. ”

The titles available through the branded progamming block include Da Vinci Media original productions, Da Vinci Innovation Labs, Maths Is All Around Us, and the BAFTA-nominated Search It Up, multiple Daytime Emmy Nominee, Xploration DIY SCI, Eric Leclerc’s MathXplosion and ScienceXplosion, Gaming Show (In My Parents’ Garage), and premium animations, Pin Code, Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab, The Fixies, and Zoe & Milo.
